Chocolate creates a life force of happiness. The pure, creamery chocolate enrobing each Eminger Berry is perfection. The heating, dipping, & accenting process must be carefully monitored. Chocolate mixed with bumps of grahm cannot drip silkily off the berry. Even a drop of water will affect the texture of chocolate. Eminger Berries are never dipped in contaminated chocolate that has been used over & over again. Instead, we put batch after batch of melted chocolate aside.

Where does all of the chocolate go? It goes to the heart of the berry. Every Eminger berry has a dessert center. The original fruit center is removed, becoming a wedge of bright red juicy strawberry. It is the heart. It is a gift.

The "berry bite" wedges and left over chocolate go to Maine's Food Bank. Eminger lavishly dips the fruit pieces in plentiful mounds of chocolate. Some of the chocolate is mixed with chocolate chips, grahm, cake, nuts, or coconut. We make "woodland bark" out of these mixtures. The rough slabs of chocolate are a real treat... a treat not available for purchase. The less fortunate get a taste of luxury. It is a gift you share. For every Eminger Berry you buy, you give the heart. You, too, create joy. And so the goodness continues...
